My Growing Son plus the New Doghouse

Heston Weaver is learning how to roll from his tum-tum to his back and I love watching how excited he gets. I started thinking about it, and sine birth, this would be the first time he could actually move himself, how fun is that?! So here's a picture of him on the floor in his nursery. He was rolling until I pulled out the camera and he saw it and reached for it, so here's the shot.
It also came to pass that our poor Sampson (I call him Sampsonian) needed a doggie house. Ginger already had a nice red barrel for her shelter (pictured below) and with the winter weather coming, I wanted Samps to have a house of his own. Tom found all the materials in our treasure pile on the property and he made a beautiful house! We stained it at first, but then I realized that I wanted a little pop of color on the porch. So he painted it like a little barn which I love, and now Ginger is totally jealous!

You've inspired me to attempt to make my puppies a doghouse. We'll see if I'm crafty enough...
