Hunting Trip

The terrible two-Tom and Jack, are driving to Wyoming (as I write this) to embark on their annual hunting trip.

What is a woman to do?
A whole lot really! I'm cleaning out drawers, organizing clothes, washing clothes, mopping floors, and guess what? It might even stay clean for a week. But seriously, that's the only good thing about having the one you love go on a hunting trip, I do miss him, really!

The point is, Tom loves to hunt, but he rarely gets time to do it. So I hope he's enjoying scouting out those bucks and spending some time with his brother!

Until next time,

Tom's Baseball Days

I've decided that since Tom will be turning 30 in a month, that I should dedicate some of this blog to him.

I've had the opportunity to go through tons of pictures of Tom life- baseball, family trips, basketball, hunting trips, soccer, you name it. I've had a blast and am realizing how lucky and blessed I am to have him as my husband, he's been through so much!

This is Tom playing baseball for the Oregon Beavers. If you all saw pictures of Dale, his dad, at this age, they'd be carbon copies!

Until next time,

Golf Tournament

Yesterday was a big day for me, I put on my first Golf Tournament Fundraiser, and guess who showed up to support me? This handsome devil right here, Farmer Tom, what a surprise, and he's a pretty good golfer too!

And of course, he's sportin' the Creighton Farm attire, I've taught him well! Free advertising right?

Our New Visitor

Ginger is such a social butterfly!

Our next door neighbors are great, and they have 3 weenie dogs. This one, Allucia, is definitely Ginger's favorite. Ginger will be gone all day only to return panting with little "weenie" at her side. Who knows what they do all day out in the fields.

At night, I head outside to feed the dog, and Ginger is sleeping on the doormat while weenie is sleeping in Ginger's dog bed.

Weenie also thinks she's the boss. When I open my front door, she comes right in and sits on the chair. Oh so cute! But then she misses her family and heads back home, last night Ginger was very melancholy without her friend.

Until next time Weenie/Allucia!

Preg Check Day!

It was a day that consisted of 100 heifers, 1 vet, 1 photographer, and 7 helpers. Preg Check day!

I had Jocelyn come out and take pictures of the whole ordeal, poor Jocelyn and her mom were exposed to all the cattle poo and snot. But I guess it was worth it, look at how handsome this guy is. I tipped Jocelyn extra to take some good pictures of my hubby as proof that he actually does work pretty darn hard.

Thanks Jocelyn, you're the best!
