The True Farmer in Me

First of all, I apologize for slacking with these posts, it's been forever, I know.

I had the opportunity to vacation in Hawaii with my siblings and just got back to the mainland.

The first day in Hawaii we drove to the Dole Plantation, and here is where the true farmer came out, I saw how pineapples grow!

I thought they were on trees! Not little yucca bushes! I was so perplexed, so I took tons of pictures! I think I was the only tourist there who really cared how pineapples are grown. I mean there's a crystal clear beach a mile away and I'm going through the pineapples rows, I've been bit by the farming bug pretty bad!

Sis,
A good friend of mine lived in Hawaii for a few years and worked at Dole. He said the tourists were forever looking for the pineapple trees! Live and learn! It's only money that grows on trees!
